Considering X and Y haven’t even come out yet, some of the Pokemon fan art that’s being produced is insanely good.

The Easter holidays have begun, revision has started, and I’m ready to ramp up the Tumblr acitivty!
In the mean-time, here’s something I’ve been working on over the past few days.
Minus is a great website for photo uploading (none of the dodgy compression that you might find on other sites). Worth a look for any aspiring photographers and artists!
(The amazing drawing above is sadly not my own…)
Did you see those amazing colorized portraits of Tesla, Einstein and Darwin the other day? Here’s a few more, featuring a more light-hearted shot of Al, my main man Richard Feynman, and Yuri Gagarin.
Mads Madsen, the artist behind those retouched historical photos (who is only 18 years old, by the way … you rock, dude), has a full gallery for your enjoyment here.
Trust me when I say “enter at your own risk” … from Civil War generals to presidents to movie stars, it’s a sure way to lose yourself for an hour or three.
A picture is worth a 1000 words. Unsurprisingly then, a colourised photo can convey a lot!

It feels great to still have time to complete drawings in-between research and school work! Truth be told, the drawing is hardly original, but it took me a fair deal of time and I’m happy with the end result.
Also, the Nobel Prize compendium post will be coming; I promise.
Quick Merida speedpainty sketch thing! Wow, her hair is such a challenge, I’ll have to paint it properly sometime.
Brave doesn’t come out in the UK till mid-August…. sob sob ;___;
My friend enjoys drawing.
You should follow her!
